It looks great - would borderless be really be better or not, I wonder?
I was going to suggest that the placement of the text could be on the space above and right of Ishida's head, but then it'd be partially blocking his lovely shiny hair ^^;

I was wondering about the border too... it seemed to lose something after I put it on. I'll try fiddling around with your suggestions to see how it goes. I think the text on top of the avatar would look nice. :D I'll post some comparisons later. X3

The border on the text bothers me a little bit, but otherwise it looks good. ^^

Hmm... what would you suggest? I'm trying an orange colour and it's not as bothersome as the darker red... looks better, but maybe a change of typeface wouldn't hurt either...

I'd suggest a different angle for the font with no border and a rectangular background instead; the typeset itself doesn't bother me that much. ^^;
