Whee, insomnia. (This was a pleasant thing to read while up with it, though!)

I'm a bit confused about how Saint Friday is Saint Wednesday's eldest sister, but Saint Sunday is Saint Friday's eldest sister. How does that work? Are they half-sisters on different sides, or something?

I always count Monday as the first day and Sunday as the seventh, and print my calendar accordingly. It is easier to plan my weekend that way because Saturday and Sunday are next to each other.

I think it's the "eldest sister of the eldest sister" thing that's getting them. If Saint Friday is the eldest sister of Saint Wednesday, how can Saint Sunday be the eldest sister of Saint Friday without also being the eldest sister of Saint Wednesay?

Do not look directly into the chickens. Use a smoked lens or make a pinhole chicken camera.

Look for images from Hans My Hedgehog, from Henson's The Storyteller.
Beautiful!

Google is magic. Also hedgehogs on roosters playing bagpipes are magic. Only they are kind of acid dropping magic: http://ullam.typepad.com/ullabenulla/2009/10/hans-my-hedgehog.html
