Whew! Lots of interest, lots of worthy causes out there! (From not knowing what to do with them, I am suddenly wishing I had more!) I tried to give one to all the librarians/teachers, and then assigned the rest at random by rolling d100’s…

So! Without further ado…

From Tea with the Squash God, Jude J, you get a Spanish copy!

Sounds like a plan! (Naturally I will forget to pack it, and then have to mail it to you later, but we'll give it a try!)

The fact that you rolled D100s for this makes my little geek heart so happy.

Yes. Louis Zocchi made one - the Zocchihedron ( http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f3/Zocchihedron.jpg ) - basically a sphere with numbered dimples, and a bit of sand inside to keep it from rolling *too* far (they still roll pretty far). Sadly, they weren't popular, and contrary to his usual standards of fair and balanced dice, all the numbers around the equator were in the 40-60 range, so you could easily roll an 'average' result.

Most d100s are just two d10s, one of which is marked 10, 20, 30... 90, 00, or just two different-colored d10s, with one of them being denoted the 'high' number.

I'll point out that d1000s also exist - a d10 with 100, 200, 300... 900, 000 on it.

They're damn hard to read too. Knew someone who had one, just for the novelty.

Yeah, someone in my gaming group has one of those zocchi-things. And a d30. They never get used, but they do look pretty :)

Hurrah!I never win anything, this is better then the lotto.

Okay, well, it's better then the lotto only because I've never won that. I'm sure that lots of free money is awesome in it's own right.
