VOTING IS NOW OPEN!!
Until April 29th, voting for songs in the URSAVISION SONG CONTEST 2007 is now open.
HOW DO I VOTE? Listen to each song on the eSnips site, found here. If you have problems hearing these, let me know as I can make a ZIP file and upload the archive to an upload site.
After hearing each tune, you will rank your top ten. Your favourite song gets 12 Points. Your second favourite gets 10 Points (NOT 11). Your third favourite, 8 Points (NOT 9). From there, the next fave song gets 7 Points, then 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 Point. This means that two songs will not get any points.
If you are a participant, PLEASE vote. As a participant, you CANNOT vote for your own song. However, you DO NOT NEED to be a participant in order to vote; if you did not participate, you can vote for ANY of the 13 songs (in which case, THREE songs will get 0 Points).
You'll then send the votes to me to this email with your votes. Please don't post your votes as a response to this post; the votes will be secret until I've finished tabulating them; after that, I will post not only the vote totals, but a graph with how each person voted.
Please give each song a fair shot. Some are in languages you might not understand, or in styles you're not used to. Vote for the SONG you liked most, NOT the province you like most.
Remember that ANYONE can vote, not just the participants. This time around each person's votes are worth exactly the same as any other. Again, send the votes to my email, and I will start tabulating them.
