Project Drag Runway

So, the court is doing a Project Runway-inspired sewing competition. I was roped into participating. The inspiration is Tudors/Elizabethan. We were given bags of fabric that we must use. It's nice, but not very Elizabethan. Just as well, since I doubt you'd have time for it all.

what i've envisioned is a little more Elizabethan than can be seen right now, even though the rules state it's not a period costume contest--that they must only be inspired by the period. I want it to be a little more punk rock/sexy than what a costume would be, yet maintain some of the earthiness...
The top is corset-like (at least the silhouette), the skirt will be an A-line hooped mini skirt, and I was planning to do some sort of geometric padded hip rolls.

But alas, no not much time. We got the stuff Sunday and the show is next sunday. Yikes!
