Cinnamon? ... of course cinnamon is a little more on the red side than that. The way the white and tan look reminds me of how sugar looks when your about to mix it with cinnamon.
I was starting to lean toward Rudy, actually. Diminutive for, pretentiously enough, Rudra: The name has been translated as "Roarer", "Howler", "Wild One", and "Terrible". Rudra is "thought" to be an early form of Shiva. Rudra is possibly derived from a root word for "red," and as with Shiva was known as "The Destroyer," which I figure is entirely appropriate for an energetic pup. :P
