I don't know what I am going to do this summer!! My mom is driving me nuts because first she says it is a good idea to try this internship/class thing with my UD professor and then she tells me she doesn't think I am "ready" for it?!?! She gives me all her opinions and then is like "do whatever you want" when she has just made me feel like I can'

I am sure you have the ability to do anything you want to do! Sounds like you're off to a good start-just find the companies and then send them your resume and acover letter and fnd out stuff!

She thinks you're not ready for it? Wow. I think you should go for the internship/class and maybe some volunteer work on the side. Like Anna said, you have the ability. To believe otherwise would be foolish.
