So I've got a lot of Big Purchases I "need" to make when my credit card is paid off. Okay, not so much need as "these things would make my life a little easier" or "OMG WANT". So here's the list, for my reference and yours as well :p

Have you tried craigslist.org for a drafting table? It seems like they turned up on (the Mpls/St. craigslist) fairly frequently for a decent price. (I can't be certain, since I do not need yet another drafting table.)

For digital SLRs, I've got a Pentax K100D, which I'm quite fond of. There's a fancier version available too. The advantage to Pentax cameras is that they're compatible with any Pentax lens ever manufactured--most of the other brands, you have to make certain that optional lenses will even work with or attach to the camera. But the K100D seems to be serving me well. (I have the equivalent of a minor in photography, but haven't done very much with it since college, since my preferred format is 4x5 and that's kinda inconvenient and the film/processing/printing is expensive and requires darkroom access generally.)

I have a Wacom Intuos 3 9x12 tablet.

Three words:
WASTE OF SPACE.

I only draw on about half or less than half the tablet, maybe it's just me though. So.. If I could change anything about it, I'd wish I got next smaller one down.

The rest of my tablet is used as an arm rest.. =A=

I guess it all depends how much desk space you have and want to take up. : )
