i've nfi what kind of shroomy shroom it is..

that's absolutely the most beautiful shot of a shroom i've ever seen.. it's tempting me to track down the info on spore prints and how to make them just to take some pretty shots..

Sure, that's a good idea. Hopefully I can find some more mushrooms to make it relevant.

I 'm going to try to make a spore print. That is very lovely.

That is way awesome. I confess I haven't started mine yet. Should it be a mushroom from the yard, or will one from the grocery store do?

I haven't had any luck with ones from the grocery store--the refrigeration seems to stop the spores from being released, and the gills are often bent and mangled from shipment.
