I know that orange flower. It grows all around the county Kerry. It's definitely an introduced species here though because it's way too flashy to be a native Irish flower. My family and I all call it orange lily but that's not the correct name. It's probably not even a lily! I'll look up the name when I get home from work. I can never remember the correct name thanks to my family's nickname for it.

The place looks fabulous! I'm jealous in the Irish rain.

That orange flower, or something that looks a lot like it, grows here (Portland, OR) too. I didn't find it in my wildflower book. The plant in my yard is a bulb, with tall narrow leaves, like a miniature iris.

Beautiful. The Hawaiian cliff sparked a memory and I looked up Doug Kenney's death as I knew he'd fallen off a cliff in hawaii. It was an event I should have known more about, but didn't. It wasn't that one as it turned out, and besides, that guy looks nothing like Kenney.

That orange flower is a crocosmia.

It looks like a crocosmia. I think they are from South Africa.
