i think the fungi and molds &c. are the most fascinating things you've profiled. not only do average folks overlook them on a regular basis, but their diversity of forms is astounding, as is the ways they make their livings.

while chocolate tube slime does sound appealing (and how appropriate for all hallow's eve), i'm afraid these guys actually looks like a huge fake eyelashes (also appropriate for halloween).
