Just a quick one 'cause dad wants to go out and eat. We're still in Vancouver, having spent the day in Stanley park (bigger than Central park! Bigger than Golden Gate Park!) and Capilano Suspension bridge theme park and let the kids run around place. It was all pretty impressive. I am familiar with the huge pile of sulfur, on both sides. :) Stanley Park is exceptionally cool, glad you enjoyed it!

What a silly gull! I wish I could see it...glad to hear the park is gorgeous...I never got a chance to go...maybe in the future...:)

the consistency is that both Vancouver and Vancouver Island were named after one of the early european explorers of the area, George Vancouver.
