Wow, when Cottonmanifesto posted the images, I assumed she was talking about a slime mold NEAR or ON actual dog vomit... very convincing look alike, I must say.

Thank you for your wonderful posts.. it relaxes me so much to look at pictures of different organisms and read well-researched facts about them too. Seeing the photo of the wolf's milk and the slug, especially, has made me feel worlds better for the first time today. Slugs are some of my favourite creatures.

Today has been a human freak-fest for me.... give me dog's vomit any day.

it's pretty spiffy at night... all sulphur yellow and well, yellow as yellow can be ... wow...

the dried out form EXPLODES on contact with water. just take an eye dropper and try it. POOF!

i've tracked one over a few days. moved as much as 10-12 feet. pretty fast ;)
