Wonder if anyone is working on having that dam removed, especially if it's not serving any purpose now.

I doubt it, since it's on the grounds of a fairly high end condo development with the work "mill" in its name. There's something like 7 dams on Mother Brook. As far as I know, only one is functional (used to manipulate the water level).
