Will it die now that it's out of its hiding place? Or will it continue to develop if you keep it in a sheltered spot at the right temperature?

I would guess that if it was placed back into optimum conditions, and wasn't carrying a parasite, it might survive. Maggie came along and ate this one's head, then spit up a bunch of froth, so it won't develop.

Exarate pupae kind of freak me out. At least hymenoptera are adecticous exarates, not like Neuroptera. Pupae should not be able to bite you!
