Once again your blog helps me identify strange creatures encountered in our urban environment. My kids found the spore-bearing stage of this organism in a park last week, and I wasn't sure what it was. But now I googled "Fuligo septica" to learn more about your crazy lemon-colored friend there, and recognized our find in some of the pictures. Thanks!
