But my favorite ice cream is peppermint stick. Not because it's my favorite flavor (that would be strawberry, or black cherry, or maple, or marzipan) but because it's relatively rare so I feel like I have to get it when I find it.

The only kind of ice cream I don't really like is chocolate.

I love a good peppermint stick ice cream. We stopped at a Handel's while we were in Ohio this weekend, but naturally this is the wrong season.

Turkey Hill (ice cream company, not the gas station) has a flavor called Firecracker--cinnamon ice cream with cinnamon Imperials in it--that can ONLY be gotten in their scoop shops, and it sounds so good that someday we'll have to head out to eastern Pennsylvania just to try it.
