The first photo is funny. I can picture you leaping up and scampering to the door as soon as you hear the car approaching.

I have that same pot with the birds on it. What's growing in the red pot?

The red one (it's actually obnoxiously magenta, but looks okay in this light) has a pitcher plant, which we've neither killed, nor nurtured enough for it to produce a pitcher.
