I have two new things that are proving unreasonably exciting to me. Unreasonably, because they're probably just not that great, but I think they are awesome. Or even ordinary. No, just regular type.

The first thing is - starting a book club with Asmelia and Kat. Oh, the fun we will have. None of this reading the Oprah recommended book

ok right, I just watched most of the first episode of Firefly today. And in that scene where what's her name who gets shot was soliciting for passengers, I went, i know that picture. And I couldn't place where from. And it's YOUR ICON. And she is so shiny.

Hee! Yay Firefly!!! It is one of the best shows ever. That it got canceled so early on is just a travesty. All the characters are so great that it's hard to pick a favorite, but I just adore Kaylee (and Simon/Kaylee). You'll have to let me know what you think of the series when you're done! :-)

Yay book club!!!!!!

The first book is something that requires careful consideration.

I need your counsel re sewing. I want to make Adam a book bag for his Buddhist prayer books, cos you're not allowed to leave them on the ground and stuff. But my deadline is, like, next Saturday.

ok, does it require fanciness? Because if you're just in for something simple, no problemo, I can help you out. Do you mean next Saturday, as in not tomorrow? Heaps of time. I'm round tomorrow night and Sunday morning if one of them works for you, or I'll be here during the week probably. So if you find fabric you're into, we could just make a simple bag like a calico/shoulder bag type thing. Simple stuff. Give me a call.

Kat and I are reading Curious Incident, is that all good for you? Next weekend ok for first meeting?
