I got another email like the one from a couple days ago with similar wording: different email address, different name given in the message, a couple unique words, but mostly says the same thing, asks for the same quantity of grilled chicken (150 chickens,) specifies the same date for the dad's birthday party, asks for some

Try googling some of the phrases.

Well, I didn't *want* to, since I instantly thought "scam" when I first saw it and didn't want to waste much time on it... but yeah, at least one person responded to a very similarly-worded email and got enough extra info to identify it as a courier scam.

I just have never seen that specific set-up before. I'm used to the Nigerian princes.
