Ugh, summer is so disgusting. I'm SO thankful not to have your humidity, but it still sucks around here. Supposed to be 104F or so my first day back at school next week. Thanks, weather. Bah...

Y'know, I think what's getting to me more than anything is this "We don't want your kind around here" vibe that's sorta humming off the management of this place lately.

I mean, leaving aside all the implied insult of lumping all the protesters of recent events into basically the same group....the bottom line message that's being communicated (to me, anyway, and take it with a grain of salt, I guess) sounds fundamentally like, "Shut up and give us money, or go away. Nobody here cares what you think."

It's depressing, seeing that level of contempt. I dunno, is it just me?

Yeah, it does feel a bit that way, doesn't it? It's like, "You're not important enough to us for us to even take you seriously and answer your simple logical questions."

I'm going to have to write up my Deathly Hallows reaction post later, just so we have something else to talk about. This "all LJ crap, all the time" is getting to me.
