Goblet of Fire: Movie Review

Nov 21, 2005 15:24

I can see I'm going to end up coughing up more money for LJ pretty soon. I was just bored enough with all my old icons, even though I had some good ones, to delete almost everything just so I could upload a new one.

Which I wanted specifically for this post, because it is GOF review time. :)

WTF was Barty Jr. doing in Little Hangleton at the Riddle House?

Bein' sexy. /Tennant fangirling

Why, why, WHY did we not get to see Snape's Dark Mark at the end? It's in the book, it's bloody important, and now if I want an icon of a Dark Mark on somebody's arm, I've gotta use Karkaroff's. Bleh...

Because Snape can't pull his sleeves up over his forearms. They're far too narrow. Gorgeous, but impossible. (I missed that bit too.)

The thing that most impressed me about this movie? I cried. I haven't cried at a movie since Two Towers (no I did not actually cry at RotK). But Amos Diggory, wailing...that was too much.

I want to comment on some of your comments, but... argh. Spoilery. Don't want to spoil it for Star!

Ah -- non-spoiler: Snape and Minerva were awfully close in this one, huh? Wonder if Snape was borrowing Harry's chest monster during the ball... ;)

This is why we went to the 10:35pm Sunday show. There was only 1 very little kid who probably fell asleep partway through it cause we never heard a peep.

I have to say that I agree with you on this one. :) Course, I have to go and see it a second time sometime this week.

OH! And I must say....I hate crowds. Especially when they're all buying concessions and driving me nuts with their inability to decide if they want goobers or popcorn. :) Otherwise HP weekend was alright from the Theater's perspective.

Parents do need to teach their children how to throw their trash in the can though. Cleaning up theaters is a pain in the ass. :)
