So yesterday, we were nice to each other. The city does enjoy manipulating our emotions. Though I suppose in the grand scheme of things, that wasn't so bad. Of course, I imagine the people who were manipulated feel differently

I do believe that saying I was 'blowing up' anywhere is a bit of an exaggeration. There was minor smoke damage at worst. Singed at the most.

While I was unaffected by this curse, I know I did not like being manipulated against my own will to talk about my death the last time.

I suppose it may be an exercise of our own willpower, but it is still unaffected.
