To combat feeling anxious and worried I've done three things - Rearranged my shelves of books by subject and alphabetized them by author within those subjects, thumbed through each favorite book before setting it in it's new home, and began making new postcards for the darling people in postcard_funThe quiet rainstorms over the past few days are ( Read more... )

Oh, I miss quiet, steady rains that last for days. We don't get those here in Colorado. *sigh* As a child of the eastern seaboard, I remember nights when the sound of those wonderful, calming rains lulled me to sleep.

Now I'm homesick all over again, but thank you for the memory...I think I needed it tonight...

Once an eastcoast girl, perhaps always one. Winter seems so long without rain and then -boom! Rain, rain, drizzle, puddles. Pitter patter. I just love it.

I'm sorry you're homesick though.

I'll recover...I'll move back eact within a few more years, and I look forward to the first long rain with great relish!
