Very Appetizing

I found this delectable treat while taking a walk at my work. From a distance I thought it was a lovely fungus, alas as I approached I realized it was something much more shocking. There was no blood, no gore, barely any evidence of struggle. Just this manky looking organ and a few tufts of fur and some stray feathers. Someone found a nice ( Read more... )

That's some pretty neat work!

I've only recently discovered raptor's distate for intestines. Mummified intestines are often found underneath nests.

I never knew that. Makes sense though, especially for a bird - why waste your time eating what is essentially a thin meat bag full of grass?
