That mushroom is very familiar looking. It looks like what we call a blewit out here -- but it's kind of geriatric and I'm no expert.

(it rained on Oct. 2, which means that it's check-out-your-spots season for mushroom hunters. But it never rained again, so it's not really mushroom season for us yet)
