not so much HMD as a question-- topslug February 4 2011, 23:40:12 UTC
So is Ash ever going to get a chance to materialize as a person in SP.

OR IS THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION A SPOILER.

NAW NO SPOILER. The thing about Ash is that he really likes being data! He thinks that not having a physical body makes him better and more "pure" than those who do.

However, it's not like I have an intricate future plan mapped out for him, and who knows what could happen in Siren's Port. B|a Also, while Ash can't materialize as a person, it's canon that he can build devices that turn people temporarily into data, or insert portions of his own data into people's brains for a short time. He talks to people "in person" this way a lot in the game.

Imagining Ash having to deal with basic human functions is kind of hilarious, admittedly.

Well, he's working with SERO, so ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE? ... Please don't come into Yako's brain, Ash. (THOUGH I IMAGINE HE WOULD BE VERY 'WAT' AT HER MEMORIES.)

yeah lmfao it happened briefly on a meme and he was like AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I HAVE LUNGS

DON'T WORRY he can only do it if he gets a specific machine stuck to her arm! IF YOU SEE ROBOTS COMING TOWARDS YOU RUN YAKO. And he wouldn't be able to see her memories - it'd be more like he'd be putting put Yako into a kind of virtual reality. It'd all be happening in her mind, but it would seem real.
