This weekend was gorgeous. Now, all of a sudden, it's summer - highs near 90. Wow. What happened to spring, anyhow? I could use a few more days like Saturday or Sunday!

Hey, my cousin got married at Fort Monroe last summer. Gorgeous place; I'd love to explore more when I'm not distracted by nuptials (and can wear comfortable shoes).

Did you get to go inside the moat? I haven't actually seen much of it, but what I have seen is pretty nifty.

We were mostly inside the church there, and my memories of what we passed on the way to and from the wedding are hazy (especially because we weren't sure we'd make it on time due to a doctor's appointment that made the timing a little too close for comfort). It all seemed pretty, though.
