M. and I have been sick with some kind of crazy cold for about 2 weeks now - it just won't quit. In my case it has "officially" turned into a sinus infection, so I've got antibiotics* as well as lots of tea and chicken soup. Hopefully they help, because I'm really ready to be done with all this. (I'm sure M. is too; she's been sick a few days

i've gotten several sinus infections each winter for the past few winters.

except for this winter. when i first got to muenster, i was sick for three weeks with a sinus infection, but i decided not to take meds. i pushed fluids, treated symptoms, and snorted/gargeled/put in my ears tons and tons of saline.

i have not had another sinus infection. this is essentially unheard of with me, and i'm convinced that it has to do with the fact that i let my body kill the sickness last time.
