OMG, I haven't had a single solitary moment in more than 36 hours to really get over here and appreciate this. And I have a small window of time right now so all I can say is this:
With his cheek resting against her inner thigh, he feels more peaceful than he's felt in ages. He probably won't be able to get her off, not after the emotional roller-coaster she's just been through, but he still gives her a long, slow lick just to feel her hips push up to meet his tongue. One of her legs is still hooked over his shoulder, and he rests in her like in a cradle. After anger, tears and desperation comes tiredness, and Damon doesn't resist when it washes over them, slows their movements and makes them close their eyes.
gutted me.

UGH. But also, I think you need to be challenged to write happy, functional, hot sex. ;-) However, this was perfect.

Thank you so much for taking time to read and comment, despite your busy schedule <33333333333.

I'm not sure if I could read this as a compliment or as the continuation of berating, so I'm just going to smile and nod ;).

Happy birthday, Candy!

I can just hear you HAVE YOU MET ME??? and I'm just saying...knowing that you like happy romantic fluff of the car-washing variety, it's funny to me that it's so impossible for you to actually make it come out of your fingertips. I guess I'm trying to say HOW IRONIC.

It is ironic, I am aware ;). But then isn't it normal that you enjoy reading more things than you can actually write?
