TVD is on hiatus, and winter Christmas is coming. I need fic in my life, and I'm sure it's not just me. So let's play! I had a ficathon like this before ( here if anyone was interested), and it worked well, so let's do it again :). Inspired by a similar challenge hosted by stainofmylove

GENERAL: Femslash and slash are fair game. Incest is okay unless I especify in the fandom comment.

- SKINS: almost everything, just hit me. I might be a little reluctant to write Mini/Franky and I won't write anything with Thomas, Anwar or Sketch. Everything else is fine (especially Cook/Effy, just so you know).

- THE VAMPIRE DIARIES: Everything. My only exception is Damon/Elena. I haven't read the books, so everything will be TV-verse.

Everything about her is blood when he holds her broken body. Her eyes are not seeing anything, they don’t shine (why would they shine? They didn’t when she was alive, except for the moment when she killed someone), there’s blood in her head and there’s blood in her hands.
There’s blood in her eyelids too, but that’s only because his hands are covered in the blood pouring from her head and he closed her eyes just seconds ago.
Her voice echoes in his head, calling his name. He puts her body down, looks at her for a moment and then walks away.
In the woods he laughs, a crazy sad laugh that breaks the heart he didn’t knew he had.

OH JESUS, I loved this? It doesn't feel off prompt at all and I love the visceral feel of this and the split between Clove and how Cato could never be sure of her no matter what, but she still got under his skin and how there's blood everywhere when he kisses her and then blood everywhere in her death and Clove is all about blood /o\
