[Mostly because he doesn't know how to do it. This is voiced too, but there's not exactly much voice to go with it. Still, he's going to make a singular nod there. He can't agree, and he was grateful she was trying in the first place. But he expected this. Feel free to try to get him to help too though, lol]

You know... they could probably use your help too, these people. And if Nino returns only to find the town in ruins, no one will be there to take care of her. I know the last thing you want is to stop hunting for her, but...

Despite the circumstances, still like helpin' a pretty girl. Long story real short: some bad guys made it past the barrier so it was moved; they took John and cut his insides out and probably showed them to 'im while he was still alive; they did this out in the desert at the shrine thing; they're comin' for us next so people are tryin' ta lock down the village by puttin' up barricades, packin' supplies, and makin' battle plans.

It could be worse. It can always get worse. 's not that great though.

Not sure who's in charge, but there's some guys running a few things. Got one guy workin' on attack stuff, a lady worryin' about supplies, got work on doin' patrols, some work on barricades. What'd you wanna help with?
