Stood Up!

Santee, SC - Tropical Storm Beryl stood us up. He veered more to the east and now is not expected to make land fall in the United States. At least it was a nice drive.

If this were easy, everyone would do it.

I thought Beryl was a womans name? But regardless, that's one date you don't mind being stood up for. :-)

You know what, you're right. The last one was Alberto, usually a male name. This one should be a lady's name.

I was thinking of someone I knew in the 70s. His first name was spelled something like that and pronounced "Bur-uhl."
