So, I got promoted today. It was a good feeling. Everyone at work congradulated me. For once in the past couple weeks I was actually pretty excited. Then I got home and told my mom. What a mistake that was. She gave me an attitude and let me down saying it's not that big of a deal. Wow...that really hurt. So then I asked what the attitude was for

Parents suck. They congratulate you on stuff you couldn't give half a shit about, but when it's somethingyou're proud of, it's either nothing special or a bad thing. You can never win with parents. The easiest thing to do is avoid them.
