“Jinki… you’ll turn 27 next month. You have to marry soon.” a 70 years old man said to his one and only grandson.
“But grandpa…”
“No but.. you’ll find the one you want to marry before your birthday by yourself, if not I’ll choose for you.” he leaved the room and turned his face back to the young man behind him.
“Remember.. you only have time until next month”.
Jinki sat back in his chair, ruffled his hair in frustration. He knew that he cannot say No to his grandfather since he love him so much. He didn’t want to marry yet, but he had no choice.
Lee Jinki was the one and only grandson of the richest businessman in South Korea. He only lived with his grandfather since his parent died on a car accident when he was 10 years old. That made him loved his grandpa so much.
It was only a day before his 27th birthday. It made him frustrated because he still hadn’t find somebody to marry yet. He decided to take a little walk in the park to clear his mind. He walked lifelessly around the park, didn’t pay attention on where he walk. Then suddenly he heard someone yelled at him and in a second he was hit by a bicycle, made him fell on the ground.
“ouch..” he hissed in pain. His elbow was bleeding.
“Oh my God”, someone screamed and got off from the bicycle and rushed to his sid.
“I’m so sorry.. my brake was broke so I couldn’t control my bicycle”, the man who looked younger than him took his bleeding arm worriedly.
Jinki looked at the younger man in front of him. He has a flawless face,,, beautiful eyes, sharp nose, high cheekbone and plump lips.
“it’s okey.. it’s not a big matter at all”, jinki smiled.
“I’m really sorry, if there is something I can do for you, I’ll do it. I felt so sorry, let me do something for you”, he apologized genuinely.
Jinki blinked his eyes, then a shocking idea appeared in his head. He smiled mischievously.
“Oh.. there’s something you can do for me. It’s okey if you help me?” Jinki asked.
“of course. I’ll do anything for you”, he replied immediately.
“Great.. btw, I’m Jinki, Lee Jinki”, the older took his hand.
“Kim Kibum, but you can call me Key”, the guy named Key shook Jinki’s hand.
“so.. Key, let’s find a comfortable place to talk”.
They both sat on a small café near the park. Key was drinking his coffee when Jinki told him what the older want him to do. He chocked as he heard that ridiculous wish.
“You want me to do WHAT ???”, Key blurted.
“hhh.. I said, I want you to marry me”, Jinki sighed, took a lazy glanced to the road outside the café.
“ARE YOU CRAZY?? We even do not know each other”
“you have no choice Key,, remember that you said you’ll do ANYTHING for me.” Jinki pressed his tone in word ‘anything’.
Kibum closed his eyes, he couldn’t understand the older’s mind. But yeah, he was right, Kibum had promised him to do anything to him, and for someone stubborn like Kibum, promise is a promise, he never took back the words he had said.
“but it’s not a real marriage.. I mean, we’ll married just for a year, after a year we’ll divorce and I’ll give everything you want.” Jinki explained
“it seems that you do not want to marry yet, then why you asked me to?” he asked curiously.
Jinki told him about him and his grandfather’s command.
“I love him so much, he took care of me since I was young, he is everything for me and I’ll do anything to make him happy even if I have to do something I dislike”, he ended his speech, kibum could see sincerity in his words.
“if you want to help me and mary me, I promise I’ll give everything you want”, Jinki said desperately.
Kibum looked deeply at the other. He remembered his one and only family he had left, his precious little brother, Taemin. Taemin got a fatal accident 3 months ago, he had a very bad injuries all over his body. He need special treatment to recover, physically and mentally. Kibum didn’t have enough money for paying the hospital fee. He loved his brother so much and would done anything to get the money. Maybe Jinki was the solution for his problem.
“Okey, I’ll help you, but..”, he couldn’t finish his words because Jinki cut him in excitement.
“really??” jinki’s eyes sparkling.
“but in two conditions”, he continued
“what is it? I’ll do everything to you”, Jinki replied.
“well, I’ll marry you but you have to give me some money and for a year of our marriage there’ll no physical contact. We’ll become a happy married couple in front of the others but I do not want any physical contact between us. And we cannot interfere each other privacy. You got it?” He asked in serious tone.
Jinki frowned. But well, they would only marry right and he never thought of doing such kind of thing with the later since both of them were not in love.
“No problem, I’ll give you money as much as you want and I promise I’ll never touch you. And I’ll respect your privacy”, Jinki agreed with his condition.
“so, prepare yourself, I’ll introduce you to my grandfather tonight”. He continued.
