You'll get that back. Plus, LJ isn't so much about having interest in yourself as it is interest in things you have to recount textually. I stopped updating frequently. No one wants to hear about my dead mother every ten seconds. Plus there's always work. So, it's less about your interest in yourself. You've already lived these things; we haven't, simply predicated on the fact we're not you.
I know what you mean. I still read everyone else but I don't really post. My posting has been relegated to the same use as my actually calling someone, I only do it when I have a specific aim in mind. You don't know Steve then? Just Storm?
I can't say I KNOW Storm, but she's the girlfriend of an online friend. I found her interesting so I kept reading her LJ even beyond our initial introduction.
I only know her through other people as well. And even then I don't know how well those people know her either, only that we both have them listed as friends. There are the people you just know from lj, there are the people that you actually talk to, there are the people you may have met once or twice, and then there are the people that you would certainly call friends just as you would anyone you saw on a regular basis.
