I have just watched this BBC mini series based off of Jane Austen's Emma and it was glorious. A++ would recommend. It was very well acted. I wanted to smish everybody's faces. So adorable. As someone who is always in a Jane Austen mood, seeing this entry on my friends page made me squee :P

It's a very good version - so much better than that appalling Kate Beckinsale one. I was teaching Emma a couple of years ago and the whole class loved this version :) I even like the additional contexty bit at the start about Emma, Jane and Frank Churchill at the start, even though that's not part of the book.
