Marie was finished with all of her finals, so she was going through her closet and trying to figure out what she should pack to take with her to New York.

She was also trying to figure out how to tell Jamie and Willow that she would be going away for part of the summer.

Miley was not looking forward to this at all, but she made her way up to Marie's room and knocked quietly on the door.

"It's open," Marie called from her closet.

Miley peeked in and looked around. "Hey Marie, whatcha up to?"

Marie poked her head out of the closet. "Hey, Miley. I'm trying to figure out what to pack for my trip this summer. How do you think you did on our final?"

Jamie wasn't in the best of moods at the moment.

Not that his conversation with Steerpike Walter had stirred up any issues with him and his feelings for Marie.

No. Not at all.

He did however make his way over to 509 just to see HIS girlfriend.

Just because he wanted to see her. Not to confirm any lingering emotional doubts.

Which is why he's knocking at the door.

After her conversation with Miley, Marie had given up on her packing and was lying listlessly on her bed, replaying various conversations in her head.

"It's open," she called.

Jamie came into the room looking pretty uptight. "Hey-" he began.

Then he noticed all the packing stuff.

"What's going on?"

"I'm going away for part of the summer," Marie said, not quite meeting his eyes. "I hadn't had a chance to tell you yet."
