give me some feedback?

I'm looking for feedback on the fifteen icons below the cut. Concrit is welcomed. Don't hold back. You can comment annonymously if you'd wish. I'm putting these up for havers to give me feedback on, but I'll take anyone's feedback. So... (and you don't have to comment about each one. I'm looking for ways to improve.)

Read all comments here and I'm gonna copy some of the others thoughts and I'm definetly gonna use your own!

#1 "I feel is too grainy. and the color needs to be muted in some spots but its great in others" The crop is a bit odd I'd like it better if it was croped more like #2.

#2 "Wonderful crop and I adore b&w icons. Maybe only add a tiny bit more contrast, brightness to her face" Havers is so right, have nothing to add :)

#3 "the icon is a bit too noisy for me. The very sharp gratifies take my attention away from the not sharp/good to see Alex " again Havers is spot on and so are you "needs something to pop eames out of the background and make her stand out"

#4 I think this one would look better if it was cropped out a bit more and he is way to greenish in the face, just as both you snd havers said.

#5 Fabolous crop and coloring. One of my favs here. A tad to dark but I love it anyway <3

haha. you were not to harsh. it's perfect. promise :) we disagree on some things and that's good because we're both artists and if our styles were exactly the same, we'd be boring. lol. thanks so much for your honesty. <3 learning how to take concrit isn't easy for me, that's why i started small :D

Concrit is never easy niether to take nor to give I promise you that. But everything is a matter of taste and as you said iconing is art and what we find beautiful someone else might think is not that beautiful, and that's the way it should be in my opinion. If everything looked the same how boring wouldn't that be? You're a brave girl asking for concrit openly. I got most of my concrit when I applied to elite posting/challenge communites and sometimes it shines thru that it's a matter of iconingstyle and not quality wich is sad cause I think that is the most important thing.
If I can gatter enough curage to post some icons at home would you do me the favour and give me some concrit?

sure enough! what prompted me to post these icons was my friend havers asked for some concrit on her icons so i gave it freely :D
