stupid Firefox

I'm useing internet explorer again, turned my computer on this morning, started up Firefox, got told that one of my extensions had an upgrade, accepted that, it downloaded and now Firefox will not open... again. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to me, and always after getting some sort of upgrade from them.  I should just switch back

it used to happen to me sometimes. here is what i did that might work. do control alt delete which will open task manager and go to the processes tab. look for firefox.exe and end the process. it will warn you about what you're doing, but firefox doesn't affect any other programs, so just end it. now try to run it again. hopefully that'll work.

although i wouldn't recommend playing around with the processes tab very often with anything else.

thanks for the tip, it unfortunatly doesn't appear to be working. Still can't get firefox to open up.
