everything this month has been intense, both interestingly and devastatingly. i saw a person hit by a train the other day, saw paramedics ripping parts out from under the train, saw workers screaming and sirens every where. it feels like my life is like that ever since, internalizing that action. i can't get the scene out from under my eyes ( Read more... )

well, i was walking out of bicas (the bike collective here, it's behind the tracks) from dropping off a bunch of frames, my car was parked in the desert lot just behind the tracks, about twenty feet away from where the body was. asi was walking out of bicas i saw the train stop. then workers were running back and screaming, then there were sirens of every type, police and paramedics. this all happened within two, maybe three minutes at the absolutely most. it was especially weird because it seemed like besides those people kevin and i were the only ones to notice. there is a rumor the person lived, but all i saw was body parts. then i got i just left, felt gross being a spectator. i tried to see in the newspaper if i could find anything else out, but they don't list cause of death nor would they say much about the trains fucking up so close to downtown when the railroad is such a huge part of industry here and trains split the city in half at a rate faster than twice an hour. the whole scene is etched in my memory, letting itself come ( ... )

thanks for saying bye when you left, oh wait... you didn't- you had Seth do it for you. actually, i didn't really mind- or did I? you tell me. but seriously , no biggy. Everyones going to be in Vegas for Decemeber, you should come visit... OR MAYBE WE'LL COME VISIT YOU!!!

oh lei, i'm sorry. i just didn't want to wake you up because you looked so peaceful. i have trouble with goodbyes anyway.. i'm going home tonight and am leaving monday morning. but if you all wanted to come to tucson i would be so excited and you're more than welcome to stay with me.

i still want you to come here..
you haven't even said hello yet! let alone goodbye.
