Cutwell wasn’t with them when they reappeared. Keli seemed distressed as she looked around, but Mort and Isobel appeared far to absorbed in staring at their fingernails to notice that anything was amiss. It wasn’t until the wizard reappeared that they seemed to notice he had gone.

This depresses me. *sniffle* It´s so sad and it´s a paring I wouldn´t have thought of before. Nonetheless now it is not only possible, now it´s obvious and I´m miserable for them. Or Cutwell anyway, Mort doesn’t know what he is missing. What may be even sadder.
