I think the phrase was seeing the form and believing in the spirit can be two different things.

It's all perspective.

If at least one dies, it would have been a good fight. If four die, it is what happens. And if I fail, I will be replaced. Simplistic, perhaps, but things happen as they will and there's no point bemoaning that.

I can't deny the soild and proven knowledge in that type of role, though others could, depending on the POV. But, I can't help but think that failure comes easy for you.
