I printed this off to read on an airplane trip, and realized that I a) never came back to leave feedback and b) couldn't remember where I found it, only that I loved it and wanted to read it again.

So I spent about a half hour this morning going back over my travel schedule and then through the corresponding issues of dotcoms_refresh to find this again.

My point is that this is a very memorable story. It's very hot, but more importantly you managed to give great insights into both characters in a story that technically is a PWP, and that is what has me coming back to reread months later. Thanks for sharing.

dude, one of the tragic things about me and bandslash is that I went through a really intense Pete/Patrick phase where I read a shitload and forgot to actually leave any feedback. the picking his nose line = genius, because it's the kindof-- subtle test that someone like Pete would use to see how or what you get away with? but my favorite line is Patrick's angry, "you can't make me take it back". :D anyway, yeah, I've had this delicious'ed for a long while, but never, like, commented. because I suck.

yeah, definitely. the pete in my head is always pushing and pushing and keeps on fucking pushing until whoever it is (patrick, jeanae, mikey, ashlee) caves and then, well, pete has trouble processing other people's emotions, so he backs waaaay the fuck off and withdraws in on himself. like a dick. or possibly makes a joke while the person he loves is feeling vulnerable. EITHER WAY.
