I really don't have much information just yet I just wanted to be the first one to announce it. Anyone who knows me well knows I very rrely get to deliver my own big news so just this once I thought I could scoop someone elses

Just between you and me and the internet at large I was feeling very selfish and left out when they said they had Erica and Lee so I didn't have to come out. I wasn't needed. They will take care of KiKi and let me know when I should come see the baby. But then I realized that next to her Mama this baby will spend more time with me than anyone else. If Kiki is fine And with having someone else hold her hand and harass the nurses so be it, but I can be really obnoxious if they don't take good care of her and she may realize she needs me after all. And Penelope and I will have plenty of time to get to know each other soon enough . . .
I wouldn't think so. Christa will most likely be on total bed rest for the next month considering how long she has been in labor so far and how far she has to go . . .I might not even be allowed to see her this holiday!
Yay for babies!!ktmayNovember 22 2004, 22:35:03 UTC
I am so excited! Is it possible that we can come see her at the hospital after the baby is born? My friend had her baby on Saturday at St. John's, so then I would have TWO people to visit...how exciting!

Well she is still in labor RIGHT NOW! She was started induction around 2pm yesterday and she was at station 1 when I left around 8pm. I was told there should be a baby around noon today. Well I have been calling in for updates and she is still at station 1! (I truely think she is trying to break my record.)She is pretty chipper since the contractions are minimal and seems up for company so come on by (second floor room 11)but whether there will be a baby or not . . .well maybe tomorrow?
Its nice to hear from you. I don't respond often to your lj but I do read it. I just hate to sound like a nag so much . . . contraryu to popular belief I am not EVERYONES mother!

I would really like to be Auntie. Its like the "mamas" as Er calls them. Mother is what teens call their mama's at the height of rebellion and if it never goes away you probably didn't do a great job. Mom makes the kid your equal and therefore takes away some of your power. Mommy is what a baby calls you and if they call you that thier entire life you probably spoiled them terribly. But Mam hits all the right notes. they can call you that for life with out grief and it still shows respect with just a touch of fear.
Now Auntie . . that has all the authority of Aunt but with just the right amount of spoiling . . .
