I used to know them all. Every one of them.

Rapunzel was the first born child taken from her parents by the witch who healed her mother. Trapped in a tower she let down her hair for a prince who defeated the witch and she lived happily ever after. A fairy tale ending.

Hey, I'm your Brigits Flame editor for the week. Let me just say I'm really glad I'm editing this. I saw it in the submission at the very beginning of last week and I read it out of curiosity. It was a really interesting, enjoyable take on the old fairytale traditional ideals. Also, you wrote it quite well. I just have a few grammatical edits and one or two suggestions to give you :) I'm just going to PM them to you. Hope they help.

Beautiful piece. I loved the depth of the characters and their struggle for the lives they want, even though it is in such stark contrast to their lives. As taboo as the subject is in our modern, free-thinking world, it would have been unthinkable in that day and age. What an obstacle these two are trying to overcome!

I was confused only on one part, though. It seemed like the personalities and dialog of the characters kept switching from medieval to modern ("What are you thinking, this evening?" to uses of "perv" and "knocked up"). For a while I couldn't tell what time period was intended for the setting. Was this intentional?

A very nice piece, overall. Nice work!
