I find Ryan fascinating to write and quite easy to identify with in some ways. There's a longer storyline coming up about him and Brendon, and turning/crisis point in their relationships.

Oh, thank you so much! You're right, they both have insecurities. One of the things we want to do with this 'verse is to show that people in bdsm relationships, even people in our fictional Family here, aren't infallible and perfect. Instead they're liable to screw up and get things wrong just as much as people in vanilla relationships. One of my pet peeves is the myth of a Perfect Dom/me - you know, the kind of leather-clad robot who never makes mistakes or, god forbid, feel insecure or has any other type of emotions.

...um. Rant over. Anyway, yes, there is more to come. Thank you for joining us on the journey :D
