Wow, I've heard of people being control freaks, but this is just too much!  Funny how on the SD-1 Temp board there is very little, if any, information about what's happened to SD-1 (although misinformation abounds!), yet in the Locator Thread, simone/Jodi finds it necessary to make sure people are well informed regarding other people's message

So it wasn't just me that caught the overwhelming stench of sarcasm? Good...I thought it just might be my jaded self.

I have no doubt that her good wishes to those boards were nothing more than a veiled attempt to steer people away from those sites...can't have any competition now can we? Because those boards might succeed and show up the new crew. One can only hope, right?

And for what it's worth, I have no issues with having to register to view content on a board. I've done it for other boards in other fandoms...why wouldn't the owners of those boards want to know who was checking them out?

This board needs some serious promotions. I am not a member of the Temp Board and I have no intentions of joining it. However, if anyone who reads this LJ is a member, maybe you can drop a couple of PM messages to the folks over there letting them know they can come over here and get some real information on what happened to the board they once called home.

And I made that thread, the one that was the 100% truth. I told every SD-1 user who was on the temp site what happened. If you will go look at that thread she left, she is blatantly denying the truth. I'm sorry to bad mouth her, but that thread was sarcastic, rude (especially to me), and unnecessary. I would like to thank whoever is posting these and I would also like to ask them to somehow let everyone know what happened. I posted a thread with the truth, to let the members of sd-1 know...after all we didnt do anything wrong!....and she deleted it, called me a liar, and sarcastically replied. THANK YOU ANONYMOUS POSTER!!!!!!

No surprise that she is not allowing debate on the Temp Board. That's not its intention. My suggestion is that someone needs to send the board members private PMs, telling them about this board and telling them to tell their friends. If you send the PMs, I would suggest you not send one to the old board admins. That could get you banned. You know that power thing. They have so little left. LMAO just thinking about that one. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Great. Now they're/she's re-opening the site and looking like heroes. How nice. [/sarcasm] Sounds to me like somebody's upset that the fans were not leaving the Alias fandom forever because SD-1 was going to be gone, but instead were finding new homes. Hello, control issues!

Its really pathetic that she took away our PMing ability. "oh no, people are talking behind my back, I better stop them from talking at all!" People will still talk. She can't stop us.

ETA: Thank you to all the people who have alerted us to the fact that the PM system on this board has been used to notify people of sites that have been flaming both SD-1 and the administration. Due to this the PM function has been turned off. We're sorry but honestly these juvenile games are getting ridiculous. If you need to contact us we can be reached at admins.sd1@gmail.com. Sounds like the little sandbox bully forgot about her commitment to non-censorship. After what we all saw in her not so well hidden forums she is the last person on earth that should be indignant at people playing flaming juvenile games. What is she going to do when people start PMing each other on the SD-1 board?
