I'm with you on that whole Jon Spencer thing. I've never been properly infected with his music, though, there were times I gave it a shot because I wanted to fuck his wife. His other band, Boss Hog, used to be swampy, and desolate, and mean. His wife, Christina (aka Christina Martinez) used to appear naked on each album cover. This was before the days of parental-guidance-stickers and what not, so her nudeness quickly thrusted each release into obscurity and made them very hard to find. I found them all once, at a friends house. In his brothers room. To understand his brother properly you have to understand that he didn't let anyone touch his stuff. He didn't even like people in his room. So, I was on thin ice the day I snuck in there and fondled all of his Boss Hog LP's and wished they were mine, because, see, Christina was a babe and she was so completely and totally nude ( ... )
