POEM: The Ascent

So, I'm just throwing this out into the great, empty void that is Unlimitede Power. It's a sonnet, though cleverly disguised, ha. I had originally intended to make this poem solely about Palpatine and Vader, but over multiple drafts it somehow morphed into a Luke and Vader poem about redemption. o.O. Still, it has a couple of tasty lines addressing

Holy shit. I mean... Wow.

This is fantastic. It drew me in right from the first line and held on for the entire thing. There's some absolutely gorgeous imagery here, made all the more powerful by the strength of the poem's message. Redemption, indeed, is possible, even for those so far gone.
